With several years in the beverage industry, NOVA Tastings is revolutionizing off-premise sampling. Born during the challenges of COVID-19, we’ve quickly grown into the largest local sampling company across VA, DC, and Western MD—executing events every week and continuing to expand.

With our recent growth into VA ABC stores, we’re actively hiring high-energy, sales-driven Brand Ambassadors to represent premium spirits brands.

As a Brand Ambassador, you are the face of the brand. This is not just pouring samples—you are creating an experience that drives sales.

• Conduct 2–4 hour tasting events at ABC stores located within 30 miles of your home address. 

• Actively engage customers and spark conversations (no standing behind the table!)

• Educate consumers on flavor profiles, brand stories, and product highlights

• Drive sales by confidently recommending products and closing purchases

• Set up and break down professional sampling displays

• Submit post-event recaps and feedback

Compensation

• 4.5-Hour Shifts: $120

• 2.5-Hour ABC Shifts: $60

• Opportunities for additional shifts and growth based on performance

Scheduling Expectations

• Shifts primarily on Fridays and Saturdays.

• Minimum 6 shifts per month required

• Consistent availability increases your chances of getting scheduled

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 21+ years old

• Outgoing, reliable, and sales-oriented personality

• Strong communication and customer engagement skills

• Previous sales, retail, or brand ambassador experience preferred

• Passion or knowledge of spirits

• Reliable transportation required

• Ability to independently manage events and represent brands professionally
