NOVA Tastings is the leading beverage sampling and brand activation company across Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. We bring energy, expertise, and passion to every tasting experience—and our team of SuperNOVAs is at the center of it all.
As we continue to grow with an increasing number of clients and events, we’re looking for a Ground Control Specialist to support and manage live tasting operations in real time.
This is a fast-paced, remote position where you’ll act as mission control for our field team. You’ll monitor events as they happen, communicate with Brand Ambassadors (SuperNOVAs), and ensure every tasting runs smoothly and successfully.

- Monitor and respond to real-time chat messages from SuperNOVAs during live events
- Ensure all team members properly clock in and out of scheduled shifts
- Review and verify system reports for accuracy and completion
- Communicate issues and insights to management (sales performance, coaching opportunities, etc.)
- Follow-up on missing or incomplete reports
- Build campaign recaps to support billing and client reporting
- Maintain awareness of all active campaigns across the region
- Execute and uphold NOVA Tastings processes with consistency and accuracy
- Self-motivated and dependable in a remote work environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly
- Tech-savvy with solid Excel skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple conversations at once
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
- Punctual and reliable
- Thursday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Friday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Monday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Additional hours available based on business needs
- Paid every other Wednesday via direct deposit
